What you will own
- Design and ship production systems with explicit security and reliability properties.
- Own services through architecture, implementation, testing, observability, and operations.
- Reduce failure modes across distributed, data-intensive, and latency-sensitive paths.
- Review designs and code with a high standard for clarity and maintainability.
- Collaborate with research and governance teams to turn controls into working systems.
What we look for
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and production ownership.
- Experience with distributed systems, platform engineering, ML systems, or modern web applications as relevant to the role.
- Security-aware design and disciplined testing practices.
- Ability to explain trade-offs and investigate difficult failures.
- Evidence of shipping durable systems under real constraints.
